His Delight In You Will Lift and Deliver You — 9 Comments

  1. Oh, I love the scripture you’ve cited. He does take delight in us, His children. I’ve experienced His quieting during anxious moments. I’ve received His soothing message through song.
    What an amazing Father!
    Happy WFW…

  2. Pressing into the Lord….even if we don’t feel anything….truly this is where our victory in and through Christ begins. Thank you for your honesty and your encouragement.

  3. Thank you for this. As I struggle through anger and depression at this time, your words are like a balm to my soul.

I thank Our Lord that He guided me here.

  4. Oh Janis, Wonderful advice full of sweet words of encouragement and uplifting Bible verses! I read a similar book or two like that years ago, including a couple by David Wilkerson, and what an awesome lesson – isn’t it! To surrender ourselves fully to God and CHOOSE to praise Him no matter HOW we feel. It has blessed me tremendously over the years as well. GOD IS GOOD – ALL THE TIME and when we grab on to that, as well as 1 Thess 5:16-18, Rom 8:28 and Prov 3:5-6 – we know we can truly trust Him! Praising God for your sharing this and passing this sweet gift on 🙂

  5. Thank you for sharing your hearts. I’m grateful the Lord has blessed you through these words and experiences I’ve shared. May He continue to bring His love and comfort to each of you.
And, Pam, I’m glad you like the music 🙂

    From My Heart to Yours,
    Janis

  6. Another one that I tucked into the corner of my heart, in a special pocket reserved for the most precious words of encouragement.

Thanks, Janis – God is good. And I am once again overcome by His love.

    GOD BLESS!
