Leaning on the Rock–A Contingency Plan — 7 Comments

  1. A beautiful gratitude list, Janis. And a beautiful reminder that Christ is our LIFE, not just top priority.

Thank you for the reminder that He is sovereign.

  2. Hi Janis,

This is my first visit to Open My Ears, Lord; your post speaks to me of trusting God in all areas of my life. There is encouragement in your words:

When my plans fall apart, when my heart is breaking, I’ve found that I can lean on my Solid Rock.

May we always lean on Christ, our Solid Rock.

    Blessings and peace.

  3. ~Jennifer, it is a comfort to know He is Sovereign!
    ~misslenbuster, may the thoughts inspire
~MTJ, thank you for visiting, and may the Lord continue to grow you in trust of Him.
~Julie, so good to see you. Glad this blessed you! And a double yumm to the Ganache. We’ll have to do it as a Flicker Chicks treat!

  4. Janis,

I am thanking God for the same thing that I’m looking to Him for my Solid Rock – my family. My sons, my husband. I am so thankful for them, they mean so much to me. And yet, this is a time of uncertainty, and a time when I must lean on God to take care of them and guide them.

Thanks for your very encouraging words. God is truly “Plan A!”

(If you have time, I’m posting tomorrow about Marty, our beagle!)
