Restored in the Dark
Evening twilight had cast its long shadow across the desert as I began wrapping up the day’s work on our home computer. A surge of power flicked the lights and computer screen back on–then everything turned to dusk. Inside and outside our home.

Janis, Isaiah 30:15 really ministered to me today as I was very distaught with the slllloooow progress of my children’s spiritual life…..Thank you for sharing! karen
I love this!!! I just felt the calmness of the evening and quite frankly a little jealous of not being able to participate in it. This was a very pleasant way in the way the Lord can calm us down and we can enjoy and appreciate our home, family and His creation. Praise the Lord for no electricity!! (at least for the moment)

PS- I love the writing on this one!
Came over from the photoplay at HCB (your photo is beautiful). I saw this post on your sidebar and it beckoned me to read. So glad I did! Such beauty in the dark if we just leave our eyes open. The moon, stars, fireflies are a few that come to mind. Your writing here was peaceful.
Nancy,
Thank you for visiting and your inspired comment about seeing beauty in the dark. I’m reminded that I need to see the beauty in dark troubling times as well.
Hope you come by again.
From My Heart to Yours,
Janis
