Trusting In the Lord — 14 Comments

  1. Thank you all for stopping by today. It’s been a busy one, so I apologize for not being able to respond to each of you individually. There have been some great thoughts here on different verses that bless each of with His peace. And different circumstances in which we have needed it.
May His peace follow you always.

    From My Heart to Yours,
    Janis

  2. “And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:7

This is one of my favorite verses on peace.

This is the peace that only God can give during those difficult times when we just lean into His chest, trust in Him and know that He is in control.

(This is what I had to do when Natalie left for Moscow) Praise Him for the peace, only He can give!!!

Psalm 34 14 Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.
But I love your verse also and would love to be able to be walking in that water right now..assuming it is a warm balmy night…LOL…winter here in Oz

I love this verse! I’m going blank on where the one is about praying leading to peace that passes understanding, but it’s another favorite as well. Perfectly peaceful photo as well. 🙂

  6. Carrie
This is one of my favorite verses!! I “chewed” on it daily while we were waiting to travel to China to adopt our daughter!

Thanks for sharing and for the beautiful reminder! Happy WFW!!
