A Fire Storm of Words — 7 Comments

  1. Hi Janis,

Brilliant and very honest open post, thank you for sharing with us in this way. Yes, my tongue runs away with me and has done so recently, suddenly something snaps and words pour fourth you afterwards wish hadn’t. I take comfort in the fact that The Lord, hears our confession and can and does turn the tables on the destruction the enemy of souls would love to magnify and play on continuously. Thank you for your visit to my blog and your words of encouragement to me, it was much appreciated.

    God Bless – Nita.

  2. Oh, Janis, I saw myself throughout – not a happy thing to see. Thank you for sharing your heart, and your beautiful photos. They so clearly illustrated the destruction and regrowth you spoke about.

  3. So thankful for His mercies each new day. What beauty you’ve shared to illustrate a painful time … “beauty from ashes.” Blessings for this new day.

  4. This was a reminder of days past when my tongue too set the house in fire ~ ughhh. I’m grateful those days are behind and truly thankful for His Mercy. Sunday blessings ~ and thanks for the visit.

  5. Wow!!!! This was powerful!!!! Thank-you for sharing what so many of us have experienced but never have expressed openly! Your writing truly is a testament to what God is doing in your life and how He wants to use it to give us hope in our lives. Praise God for His mercies are “New” every morning and His forgiveness is on going!!! Love you my friend!

PS- The photos are absolutely beautiful and also a testament to what you are expressing!!

  6. Gorgeous photos but an even more powerful message. It was like looking in a mirror when those times arise in my own life.
    Thanks for sharing.

  7. First of all, your photos are stunning! My tongue has had a mind of it’s own lately. I needed this truth to help me to ask the Holy Spirit to fill my mouth with words that bring life!
