Between the Cloud and the Pillar of Fire; the Sunrise and the Sunset — 12 Comments

  1. Beautiful thoughts, Janice. A great reminder to remain faithful and obedient in all seasons of our life because He is always faithful.
    A beautiful list.
We are still praying for rain in our drought scorched land.
Enjoy your day off and have a lovely week.
    Blessings

  2. Annesta~May the rain begin to fall gently on your land. And then the downpour once the ground is ready to absorb it.

Pam~I love your idea of using it as a lead in to worship or a time of confession. The time of confession resonates with my spirit.

    Jan~Always loved. Thank you.

    From My Heart to Yours,
    Janis

  3. Shared this post with my husband–I can see it being transformed into a call to worship or a time of confession in an upcoming worship service. I love the comparison of the cloud of smoke and glow of fire to the sunrise and sunset! Beautiful illustration, Janis! Thank you!

  4. What beautiful pictures, Janis. I can see why these glimpses of light reminded you of His faithfulness. But, yes, in the storms–in the between times…may we remember Him also. So beautiful.

  5. Great post Janis; love the pictures! 🙂 I don’t do very well with down time so when I fall into dispair from a humdrum day of routine, I have to remind myself to relax and enjoy every moment of my time and realize the importance of this precious time God has given me. 🙂

    Blessings and love!

  6. This so blesses me — I too am desperately clinging to His promises, listening to His voice pouring out love, reminding me that He is in the midst of this storm of fire.

  7. This was really lovely, Janis. I’d have to say that I find the Lord in His Word. He consistently speaks to me there. He challenges, convicts, comforts me. He prods me on, and slows me down. He meets me in His Words – the written ones, and the ones He speaks to my heart.

    GOD BLESS!
