It’s Really Real — 8 Comments

  1. This story shows how real a friendship can become as we walk with each other through a crisis–how wonderful that you had developed your relationship so that it was completely natural to pray and serve her during her daughter’s illness.

You are two impressive women of God, brought together through your love for Him, devotion to family, and passion for writing.

  2. Ann,
Thank you for your gracious comments. Jennifer and I have been blessed with a special friendship through our online connection. I’m sure that if we had the opportunity to meet in person (which we hope will happen one day soon), the relationship would blossom even more.

    From My Heart to Yours,
    Janis

  3. Janis (and Jennifer) it’s really cool that you’ve become good friends. There are a lot of skeptics out there that still think relationships developed online can’t match the depth of offline relationships. Thanks for sharing the story.

  4. What a heartwarming story of friendship, made real out here on the big ol’ World Wide Web.

It’s so cool to hear how God brought you two together through the High Calling Blogs network. I’ve made lasting, real friendships through the network, too.

The strength of your friendship is revealed most evidently in the way you’ve walked alongside one another during difficulties.

  5. Thanks, Jennifer, for coming by. Jennifer and I have been blessed through our friendship. It’s great to have the encouragement of High Calling Blogs behind us.

    From My Heart to Yours,
    Janis
