The Mountains and Hills Burst Forth in Song
“You will go out in joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and hills will burst into song before you, and all the trees of the field will clap their hands. Instead of the thornbush will grow the pine tree, and instead of briers the myrtle will grow. This will be for the Lord’s renown, for an everlasting sign, which will not be destroyed.” Isaiah 55:12-13 NIV
From My Heart to Yours,
Beautiful words from the book of Isaiah!
Beautiful! May we burst into song this morning as we worship!!
Favorite scripture and lovely photo. I just wrote a two-part post recently about the trees of the field clapping their hands, from an experience in my life. Blessings to you!
Sometimes I hear the bare tree limbs clacking together in the wind and I think of this promise and verse. What a joyous promise!
Love this thank you for sharing.
Dear Janis
Isn’t this the greatest news! As we live in Jesus even nature will rejoice. Have a peaceful Sunday, dear one!

Love this! Makes me want to get up and clap!
So beautiful and lovely to come and read after a morning of singing praise to God. It makes me want to continue to burst out in song and clap my hands!
Blessings to you,
Beth

Oh yes, lead me forth in peace, Lord.
Lovely photo, Janis. There are few things I love more than the colors God paints in His sky!
GOD BLESS!
How encouraging that scripture is! I love it and your photo is beautiful.
Blessings and love,

“the mountains and hills will burst into song before you” . . . wonderful words of encouragement.
Janis, this is lovely–not sure what part of the desert you’re in, but the photo is perfect….and the Scripture.
Hi Janis! I love to think of the trees clapping their hands, what a great image that is. I live near an Arboretum, and I love to look up on a windy day to see all those tree-tops swaying. It’s the best!
Happy Friday!

My husband and I were just talking about buying a pop up camper. We travel a lot with our ministry of member care and see some beautiful country. Usually we stay in a hotel or maybe a night or two with missionary friends. Recently we traveled from south western California up to the far north of California, beautiful forest, beautiful sea…would have loved to camp out around them instead of a hotel. Loved your post.
