Woman in Her True Role — 10 Comments

  1. I love that God sees us as the “completion” of our husbands. I never thought of my role that way but it makes perfect sense. Thanks for sharing what you learned, Janis!
    Blessings!

    • Your welcome, Pam. It’s a whole picture of our relationship when we see ourselves as a completion of our husbands.

      Blessings,
      Janis

  2. I really like what you had to say today – and the words from your pastor. I think it’s vitally important that we women understand that we are not “lesser” – we have a vital position in God’s creation.

    GOD BLESS!

  3. Hi Janis! I love it when the church recognizes the role of women. And I also love it when you really dip into Scripture to give us the good word. Thank you for all your work doing that!

We do have a high calling, and we can’t be reminded enough of it. Great post today 🙂

  4. Janis, I appreciate you sharing these nuggets from your pastor’s sermon. Man and women are better together and God knew that. Have a great rest of the week.

    • Thank you for stopping by, Wanda. Knowing God’s true intentions from the beginning are enlightening!
Have a blessed week as well.

  5. Loved this Janis! And when a woman treats her husband with respect, it’s amazing how he appreciates that and shares more love. I read a book by Dr. Emmerich about love and respect. He recommends finding something you respect about your husband and telling him.

    Blessings and love,
    Debbie

  6. Janis, love your words on this. “”When a woman treats her counterpart as an image bearer of Christ–treats him with respect–she brings glory to God, honoring the vessel from which she was created.” Such a true statement.

Thanks for linking up with Woman to Woman’s Word Filled Wednesday! Please join us again next week. God bless.
