Drinking from the River of Delights — 6 Comments

  1. It is easy to get caught up in the guilt list when you are a responsible type. I think you speak to many of us and I love your lesson of spontaneity and flowing in the Spirit!

  2. I’m so glad that you enjoyed your day! I also find it hard to leave behind “responsibilities” – but if we don’t from time to time, we just burn out, right?!

Things have been a little “dry” lately – so I’m asking the Lord to give me some still waters to lie down by – I’m asking Him to restore my soul with His Living Water.

    GOD BLESS!

  3. Jane Eyre? Those men are saints! I think I’ll be finding my best girls to go see that one. 🙂 What a sweet playdate. I was right there with you, Janis–sliding across the backseat. I think I even got a few butterflies remembering my own double-dates from the days of old. 🙂 Thank you for sharing this one with me. Such a delight!

  4. Mary, glad you found the spontaneity inspiring.

Sharon, we all hit those dry spells. Just know that your words bless many and you are being used by the Lord. Rest in Him and refresh yourself.

Laura, you made me laugh! I had to run and tell hubby that he finally made sainthood! I’m still giggling and smiling 🙂

    From My Heart to Yours,
    Janis

  5. Such a great post today! The older I get, the more I’m finding myself losing that spark to just get up and go do something on the spur of the moment. I used to be the one pulling everyone else along. Thank you for the remind to get up and go and live in the moment. Just perfect for me today!
