The Nativity Set That Knit Our Lives Together — 4 Comments

  1. OK, Janis – hands down, that is the most precious Nativity set I have ever seen! I was touched thinking about the sweet hands that knit it in the first place, the love your husband had to acquire this treasure, the young hands of children placing each figure “just so” (the runaway stories were too cute!) – and finally, your loving hands keeping the tradition going.

Today I can find NO OTHER peace but Him. He is the only One who is keeping me settled, calm amidst the storm.

    GOD BLESS!

  2. Hi Janis,

Thank you for sharing this family tradition. I find it heartwarming to learn of the various traditions that families establish; this one is no exception.

I’m encouraged by these words from you, “May your peace guard our hearts and minds as they are focused on you. Help us be messengers of peace in a world that has difficulty finding peace. Amen

    Blessings and peace.

  3. That was so beautiful!! Those handknit figures have such expression that I can hardly believe they are not real people! Your camera is very good!!!!How special your family must enjoy that tradition every year. I am sure they will pass it on through the generations!!! love, Karen
