By the time we had two boys, we had just moved to Arizona–all beach, no water–in the middle of summer. Suddenly, summer wasn’t so fun anymore. We landed in 106-degree heat. And no pool in the backyard yet. But friends again came to our rescue from our home state
When I entered the world of blogging, I became more observant. Workshops informed us that if we didn’t move away from our computer desks and enter the world we lived in, it would be difficult to find subject matter about which to write. Look around
Ahead always has the connotation of preparing for something that is coming. Look ahead of your car on the road to determine if the traffic is flowing smoothly or if a dangerous situation is lurking in the traffic up ahead on the road.
How are you preparing for this season ahead? Are you remembering your traditional celebrations and wondering how you will incorporate some of your memorable moments in the season ahead if we are still living under pandemic restrictions?
And in respecting God, our hearts are filled with awe and worship of Him. We are the ones who benefit from respecting God. His blessings are poured out on us, just as an earthly father blesses his children who respect him.

It wasn’t my birthday or any special day of the year to expect mail. But this card gently landed in our mailbox which is inconveniently located in one of these modern stations with a jumble of boxes a few blocks away from our home.
